Project | Calfkiller River Watershed
For this project, I worked with a group to determine the history, water quantity, and water quality of the Calfkiller River located in Sparta, TN. I focused on water quantity. Using Excel and data found on the USGS website, I determined mean stream flow as well as created a flood frequency curve.

Project | Senior Capstone Project
Worked as an environmental consultant advising the Appalachian Center for Craft on upgrading their outdated, inefficient boiler system. Research as well as communication with the director and maintenance staff was involved in order to provide a final proposal and presentation. My research focused on biomass boilers.

Project | Ovenbird Species Profile
Developed my research, writing and communication skills by preparing a 10 page paper and 30 minute presentation on the ovenbird detailing life history, distribution, habitat, conservation status, management, and additional information.
